WACO, Texas (July 1, 2022) – Baylor College is mourning lately retired theater arts professor and famend Horton Foote scholar Marion Castleberry, Ph.D., who handed away June 25 on the age of 71. “Marion leaves a legacy of achievements on this planet of theatre, particularly theatre training. He started educating in 1972 and retired from Baylor College on June 1, 2022. “He loved writing particularly about his favourite topic, Horton Foote, playwright and display screen author. Dr. Castleberry is survived by his spouse, Terri, son Colin and his spouse Angel of San Antonio, three grandchildren, Colin Jr., Gabby and Taryn, brother Byron Castleberry and his spouse Cecila of Alba, Texas, brother-in-law Keith Loter and his spouse Michele of Kingsland, Texas, and lots of nieces and nephews who he liked dearly.
