Haley Artwork Gallery hosts Vacation Open Home Dec. 17

KITTERY, Maine — The Haley Artwork Gallery will host its Vacation Open Home with a “houseful of financial savings” on Dec.17, from 11 a.m. to six p.m. with nice offers on authentic art work and handmade present objects from throughout the globe. PORTSMOUTH — The Black Heritage Path of NH is bringing three-time Nationwide Ebook Award Finalist and celebrated poet Marilyn Nelson to the second of this yr’s Black Matter is Life poetry collection on Thursday, Dec. 15, at 7 p.m.
The Black Matter is Life: Poetry for Engagement and Overcoming examines the work of each well-known and little-known Black poets to discover and focus on the wealthy custom and innovation present in African American poetry. This program is designed to construct bridges throughout the racial divide by introducing the viewers to works that shine a light-weight on a wealthy cultural heritage that has usually gone unexplored.
