Sturgis Academy of Martial Arts earns School of the Year award

The Sturgis Academy of Martial Arts received a wonderful honor recently.

The school was picked as the iKali Academy of the Year for its leadership and contributions to the progress of iKali, the Artwork of the Blade. The award was introduced to Sturgis Academy of Martial Arts co-homeowners Bret and Katie Hamlin by Tuhon Apolo Ladra, Kali Artwork of the Blade founder and Learn Ace Ramirez at the Filipino iKali Academy headquarters found in Glen Burnie, Maryland.

“[The instructors at this academy have] absent through all the levels and are now operating on the next level. What is improved than that? The Hamlins are honored to have received the recognition.
